How big is the universe really
The universe is the vast, all-encompassing space that contains everything in existence—matter, energy, planets, stars, galaxies, and the physical laws that govern them. It began around 13.8 billion years ago with the Big Bang and has been expanding ever since. The universe is composed primarily of dark energy (about 68%), dark matter (27%), and ordinary matter (5%). Despite its immense size and complexity, much about the universe—like its exact shape, fate, and what lies beyond its observable boundaries—remains a mystery.
